When the seed of doubt creeps into your mind it is so hard to shake, cheating? Affair? Infidelity? Beyond the feelings of betrayal and anger there's also guilt because you may not be sure and you feel bad about having these feelings. The best way to resolve things is to remove the uncertainty. Work out if you are being realistic or paranoid. Find out for sure. What are they up to?
Because humans are imperfect and generally we are not very good at hiding things, especially emotional things like relationships, there are usually signs that can be examined, recorded and evaluated. Keeping careful records once you get hint of what is going on will help you get to the bottom of things much more quickly. Eventually you can tell when someone is cheating.
Changes in behaviour are the biggest giveaways. If all of a sudden they doesn't want you to use their cell phone or gets very defensive about emails or text messages than this is a huge red flag. These days with our technological lives we usually make contact by electronic means as a first step. The cell phone is our portal to the rest of the world. In a healthy trustworthy relationship there should be no issue with our partners using it or examining the contents. The same goes for email. Secrets may be explainable but it is suspicious.
Another thing to look for is leaving the room to take calls, and other forms of hidden communication. Because they will be feeling uneasy and guilty about deceiving you an innocent question may result in an unpleasant reaction. Often it's the response rather than the original act which will give the game away. This is a very common sign of cheating
Also watch out for suddenly having to run out and do something late in the evening, or work hours that don't make sense. Periods of time that seem suspiciously unaccountable should provoke further examinations. It is very difficult to hide the hours spent apart that until recently would have been spent together. Bringing the subject up should get a reasonable explanation. If none is fore coming then bad news may be ahead.
There are many more ways to catch them in the act or get them to admit their infidelity if it is occurring. There is no excuse for cheating. Affairs ruin lives and not just the people in the relationship. For loads more tips and tricks see the links below.
